St. Vincent and the Grenadines is comprised
of 32 isles and cays, with the mainland, St. Vincent being the largest.
The majority of its sister islands are tiny gems of sand spits and crystal
waters. St. Vincent is a rich, volcanic island which extends 18 miles north
to south, and a mere 11 miles wide. The terrain is rugged, yet rich, with
an abundance of rivers, waterfalls, black and gold sandy beaches, and so
much more.
The larger of the neighbouring islands include Bequia, Mustique, Canouan,
Palm Island, Petit St. Vincent, Mayreau and Union Island. They are all
inhabited, and just like St. Vincent, the lifestyle is simple, carefree
and very relaxed. |
