Location
Venezuela is one of the most northerly countries of South America,
with the Caribbean Sea to the north. It has an area of about 354,000 square
miles.

Topography
The country has four main geographical regions which make up its terrain.
The coastal mountain chain (the north western region), the central region
covering over 100,000 square miles, the Guayana region (southeast),with
thick jungles and many rivers, and the most northern coastal region, including
the Caribbean islands, which are comprised of white sandy beaches and warm
water.

Climate
The Country is mostly tropical, and varies from warm, white beaches,
to the snowy peaks in Merida. The northern coast, where Caracas is, experiences
only two seasons, a dry season from December to May, and the rainy season
from June to November.
